At Brave Like Me, we are always seeking new opportunities to support children with Complex Medical Conditions and chronic diseases. Our newest program—Partners in Purpose—is another way for us to uplift kids living with challenging medical complexities by collaborating with inspiring and like-minded charities.
We are thrilled to announce that our first charity collaboration is with the Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati—an organization very close to our hearts (pun intended). Brayden Otten, our founder’s son and the inspiration behind Brave Like Me, was born with a congenital heart defect. Throughout his life, Brayden faced many challenges and obstacles stemming from this disease, but he never let it affect his spirit and desire to live his life to the fullest.
With February being Heart Month, we thought the Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati would be the perfect partner to help us kick off this program. Together, we’ve been working on ways to serve children with congenital heart defects in the Cincinnati area and their families. One way you can help support both of our missions is by shopping for our exclusive merchandise collaboration. Each month, we’ll be creating custom designs and merchandise for our Partners in Purpose collection. From tees and sweatshirts to mugs and totes, we’ll be curating items for the whole family to enjoy.
Shop for Good and Support Kids with Chronic Diseases
As part of this new program, we will be designing and offering exclusive merchandise each month. When you shop this collection, 100% of the profits go directly to our partner org to support their critical initiatives and programs.
For the Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati, this includes:
- Investing in research and wellness programs
- Funding grants and projects associated with congenital heart disease
- Working with a network of over 50 pediatric cardiology care centers across the country
- Providing resources and support for families of CHD patients
Collaborating with these amazing organizations helps us strengthen our reach, expand our impact and encourage even more kids to be brave, discover their courage, and live their fullest lives.
